Ms. Perini brings over 25 years of experience in software engineering, process optimization, project management, and the implementation of globally recognized standards including CMMI® Development and Services, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 20000-1, and ISO/IEC 27001.
In her leadership role, Barti oversees ISHPI’s ISO team, Software Engineering Process Group, Configuration Management, and Quality Assurance, and works in close collaboration with executive leadership, program managers, engineering teams, and corporate service delivery teams. Her efforts have been instrumental in ISHPI ’s consistent achievement of key benchmarks, including multiple appraisals at CMMI Development Maturity Level 5 and CMMI Services Maturity Level 3.
A recognized leader in software quality on the international stage, Barti played a pivotal role in securing the 2023 IEEE Computer Society/SEI Watts S. Humphrey Software Quality Award for ISHPI’s Advanced Information Services (AIS) Division—a prestigious recognition of the organization’s enduring commitment to excellence in software engineering. She also authored papers highlighting ISHPI ’s approaches to software excellence and process innovation.
In addition to her leadership responsibilities, Barti was integral in establishing and managing a secure software development apprenticeship program at ISHPI.
Barti holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. She also holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University, an M.Tech in Industrial Electronics, and a B.E. in Power Electronics from India.
